1. How long have you been with NRE? or How long have you been in the RR industry?
I have been with NRE 15 years in the Corporate Human Resource Dept. When interviewed for the position I was asked how long I intended on staying if hired. My answer was until I retire!
2. What do you do for NRE?
My title is Benefits Administrator – I manage the employee benefits, process new hires/terminations and maintain numerous monthly reports. I assist in audits involving 401K & ESOP. I am on the Executive ESOP committee and was NRE’s Coordinator for the AHA walk for the 8 years we participated.
3. What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy many aspects of my job from assisting employees with questions/Insurance issues to deadlines with Benefits, 401K and ESOP. Each has its own challenges that gives me a sense of satisfaction and pride when completed timely and accurately!
4. What makes NRE special?
It’s special to me because it’s always been a company that you were a person, not a clock number. The “family” atmosphere while still maintaining the worlds largest independent supplier in the industry speaks volumes.
5. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies and activities include bicycling, crafting, keno, board and card games, as well as spending time with family, friends and church involvement – I like to stay busy.
