Emission Kits
TRM NRE offers Emission Solutions for both the rail industry as well as marine. Our kits are certified by USEPA to meet or exceed emission standards ranging from Tier 0 + for a 645 EMD© Engine up to TIER 3+ on a 710 EMD© Engine.
TRM NRE kits include NEW or REBUILT Power Assemblies coming standard with a Kaydon Ring set matched to a plateau honed liner for low oil consumption. Emission Injectors and a new 6 pass aftercooler compared to the industry standard 4 pass. Optional Equipment includes Turbo Chargers or Engine Blowers. TRM NRE’s solution not only increases engine life by reducing air box temperature, it allows the engine to perform more efficiently which leads to Emission’s Reduction as well as decreased oil and fuel consumption.
