Ryan Floyd has a comprehensive background in the rail industry, with expertise in mechanical procurement, inventory logistics, continuous improvement, and governance. His career began at Wabtec Global Services, where he developed a strong foundation in the field. He then spent 11 years at Kansas City Southern (KCS), gaining extensive experience across the entire procure-to-pay process, including warehouse management, procurement, sourcing, logistics, and leading special projects.
Following the merger of CP and KCS into Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), Ryan has spent the past two years focusing on system integration, locomotive procurement, and advancing procurement and inventory governance practices.
Outside of work, Ryan is dedicated to his family. He and his wife, Samantha, are proud parents of two daughters, aged 9 and 13, as well as a Labrador Retriever mix. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, hunting, distance running, geocaching, and playing or watching sports. Much of their time is devoted to supporting their daughters’ activities, including competitive soccer, volleyball, piano, Girl Scouts, and golf.
